Steve Winstead has been the Principal Architect and CEO of Winstead and Associates since the company began in 2000. Prior to that he served as the Building Official of various jurisdictions across the state of Oregon. He has a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oregon and has been a practicing architect since 1982. In addition to architectural, plans examining, and construction management work, Steve is also the leading code expert in the State of Oregon and frequently teaches code update classes to various jurisdictions all over the state.
